Contemporary VA along with one of their clients recently devised a strategic plan that stepped outside the boundaries of the normal Virtual Assistant duties. David, Contemporary VA’s client, is a well known author who was scheduled to head to Florida from Michigan for a business trip for his wife. When his Virtual Assistant from Contemporary VA was speaking with him, David brought up the idea of doing a seminar while he was in Florida where he could speak and sell his book. Contemporary VA’s CEO Heather Villa, CAO Tina Caldwell and one of their Virtual Assistants planned a seminar complete with a luncheon, an after hour’s event for the first 10 registrants, a video production crew, and a crew to handle sales of David’s books.
Contemporary VA did all of the planning from booking the event space at the Embassy Suites, to booking rooms for fans coming in from out of town, ordering the food, coordinating the film crew and ensuring that the seminar was a huge success for their client. One attendee even flew in from Dubai!
The books sold out and Contemporary VA continued to take orders and fulfilled them once they got back to their offices. In the Virtual Assisting world this is not the standard.
Contemporary VA go above and beyond for their clients even when the scope of their client’s wishes push on some boundaries the company is not normally used to.
